usual,
Just before the TLD LAN event Ralf announced that he was about to work in Germany for the next few months. Therefor he wouldn't be able to be online that much until after the summer vacation. So VIP-Gaming went looking for a sutable replacement. It didn't take long before he was found. It is none other than Mik "Cham
Recently the TLD lan event was held in Skærbæk, Denmark.
Call of Duty 4 was on the program, so our very own newly joined VIP-Gaming CoD4-team attended.
The team had hoped for a lot of training up to the event, but with RaaalF being away on a business trip training was out of the picture. So the team decided to take off and go on routine.
The team arrived Friday evening and it didn't take long before they expe
The Danish Battlefield site BFHQ were the motor in getting Bad Company 2 as a promotion event in the Copenhagen Games lan this easter.
VIP-Gaming offcause did our to support the event and went to the lan with a 5v5 Infantry team.
We didnt train at all and went in just to se how the game would work on lan and in the 5v5 format.
It was a 5 team event so it wasnt big or anything but it was atleast 3 famous teams among the participants.
Team Dignitas (main 5 )
After some problems with our old Call of Duty 4 Alpha lineup, we decided to jump straight back into the scene, with some players who have been on the COD4 stage for a long time. They are all nice guys and we are glad to take them aboard.
All of these players have a big amount of experience and have been playing the game for quite a while.
The new Alpha.CoD4 lineup is:
Rasmus ` RalF`Jakobsen
Thomas ` Kanaljen` Caspersen
Today VIP-Gaming can add another team to the list.
But this isn't anybody that now can call themselfs VIP's.
I'd a little chit-chat with the team captain Torben "Lucifor" Aksskjold .
And here is what he had to say:
Hellow Lucifor , welcome to VIP-Gaming, would you like to introduce the team
Hi White! I started COD back in 2008 with my old team (Raw-Gaming), but after TEX08 we broke up, after that, I took a break from gaming for almost 1½ year, I returned for some months ago and XpN approched me and asked if I wanted to join him, Mong mariNe & Niklas
mariNe is an old Battlefield 2 player, who played in coalition, and have been playing CoD4 since the release.
Tho he had some breaks because he had to join the army and other IRL stuff, tho he's back and is ready for game 100%.
Niklas is the youngest in the crowd, and he has alot of potential.
He's a flawed ruby who just needs to be shined and polished, and if we ever manage that... he might go far.
Mong is the clan clown.
He's our team scoper with brilliant aim, and the sickest comments ever, hes definatly a morale booster which is a good thing ofcourse
XpN is the runner up for Mong.
He tries to be funny but it always backfires so he just sits like a big question mark wondering where he failed. Tho he's a cool guy and an excellent friend and we're really happy to have him on board.
What goals do you have for the team, besides being a top team ?
Our goals are to build a name for VIP, get some decent online and offline results so prove that we have great potential
and that it was a great idea for VIP to pick us up.
Who would you say is the teams strongest player?
Well we all have our different abilities and different strengths and weaknesses,
but as a team we're all equal which means our teamwork is excellent and nearly flawless.
What are your expectations for your new organization?
A friendly enviroment, with alot of good times and hours online aswell as offline.
We ofcourse wish that our corporation with the VIP Management is smooth and good.
Bootcamp, and offline events shouldn't be a problem?
nope, mariNe have alot of contacts in the gaming enviroment aswell, as his own appartment with loads of place for bootcamping.
I Will first of all thank you for your time
welcome to VIP-Gaming, if you have anything you would to share, then the last words is yours.
Thanks for the opportunity to join vip, I can?t wait for this corporation between the organisation and the team to begin and I?m sure that we will reach greatness together.
VIP-Gaming would like to say welcome to the team
The team is:
Tobias "mariNe" Kallehauge
Stefan "XpN" Elver
Niklas "Niklas" Larsen
Torben "Lucifor" Aksskjold
Thomas "Mong" Jensen
Today VIP-Gaming can add new and experienced players to our CS:S roster.
Out goes: dquar, airon, and ruggah.
Dquar was hoping to get more playing time on the team.
While Ruggah got a offer from ONLINE KINGDOM (Former Radio), he couldn't resist.
Airon left the team after a misunderstanding between the players from the new team.
In Goes: vnG, Krogh, kEmis, and orga as the 6th player.
vnG and Krogh comes from a short time in Viborg Vipers,
while kEmis has returned to Counter Strike Source after a short visit in CS 1.6.
The team Manager had a something to say:
"I'm happy to welcome the new addition of players to the team.
The team seems more exited than ever, and we are just keen to get started.
The new players that we have added to the roster brings a new dimension,
and we will get the chance to show our new lineup at the upcomming DSRack lan."
We welcome you all in VIP-GAMING
The New VIP-GAMING CS:S Team is:
Mikkel "bql" Haagensen
Niclas "Creed" Haagensen
Dennis "vnG" Vang
Casper "Krogh" Krogh
Jonas "kemis" Linde
Martin "orga" Hansen
Søren "Sonny" Bundsgaard (Manager)
That was alot of flags.
Today VIP-Gaming can add another team to the list.
But this isn't anybody that now can call themselfs VIP's.
I'd a little chit-chat with the team captain Perry 'frantx' Smith.
And here is what he had to say:
Hellow Perry, welcome to VIP-Gaming, would you like to introduce the team
Hello,
It started out just after i37 when we all found ourselves leaving our old teams.
So myself, Oliver, Marcus and Brian, got together to make a team.
We had line up problems with the 5th but bringing in AIMZZ helped our line up, But after recent events we had to kick AIMZZ.
We have actually met up in a boot camp so get to know each other, we have strong communicate and great relationship within the team
What goals do you have for the team, besides being a top team ?
Our goals are to build a name for VIP, get some decent online and offline results so prove that we have great potential
and that it was a great idea for VIP to pick us up.
Who would you say is the teams strongest player?
Well we all have our different abilities and different strengths and weaknesses but as a team we work well together,
so nobody stands out in the team, but without one member the team would be nothing we work well as a team
What are your expectations for your new organization?
Well we already feel a part of the VIP family, and we going to build a good name for VIP within the call of duty 4 scene,
we will be attending offline and online events.
I can see that the team is spread around, will this effect you in anyway?
No our communication is fine, and we all understand eachother,
in a way it helps the team as we dont have the 'typical uk' team that last one week.
So bootcamp, and offline events shouldn't be a problem?
No we have been to bootcamp already and it was great fun,
and offline events will not be a problem as you will see us in up-coming events such as i39, cc7, tex10.
I Will first of all thank you for your time, and wish you congratulation with winning the C4Cup yesterday,
welcome to VIP-Gaming, if you have anything you would to share, then the last words is yours.
Thank you very much, i would like to thank you White, Lund, Maria and the whole of VIP-GAMING
and of course our partners, sponsors and fans!
VIP-Gaming would like to say welcome to the team.
The team consist for now of these players:
Perry 'frantx' Smith
Oliver 'OliVjE' Scharp
Marcus 'marqzz' Joten
Brian 'kayote' Heuver
Today is a sad day, for Danish eSport
The most respected organization lost its team today, and have now chosen to go on standby.
Zahid 'Sui' Butt had this to say in the Pressrelease:
I have over the past several years, tried their hand at many different players, and even though we the last 1 ½ years have shown reasonable good stability when the replacement was not different than many other teams, so it is simply too difficult steer the Danish cs players. .
I have repeatedly tried to pull me into teams which have achieved promising and promised performance in the future. Their intentions were good, but still have bad friendships, intrigue and impatience, taken the lives of too many promising Danish teams and organizations.
The problem is that it not only affects the team. It affects the degree also the organization behind. Therefore, I sit back, having lost my provisional last team with a bland taste in the mouth. The people I have had with me, collaborators and crew, have put their spare time in helping the team we've had inside, but these teams have little thought of what their actions have had the effect on the crew behind. It is generally very tedious experience you sit in again and again.
I am afraid that very many otherwise strong forces have chosen to throw the manager role on the shelf just because of lack of respect and continuity from the Danish CS players.
It does not stop here because it's not just the team being hit. Unfortunately, so is it also beyond the partners that I have too often been about to make a deal with. They are served a quote from me with the best intentions of giving them back their investment, but we are ready to write the contract chooses the team to split. It has happened a few times, so I at last have simply chosen to stop seeking more support. It undermines me, but in the greater scene, as these different partners to get these divisions too often. It is an embarrassing tendency to the scene and so much to me when I have been promised and the intentions of the team promised me. It is so difficult to have fought the battle with the sponsors so that will be left with a long nose because the team can not remain stable.
Danish eSport CS and especially at the top needs in the degree to handles up a bit in themselves and show a little loyalty and cooperation towards the people who spend a lot of spare time to find ways to get just the players off to the good experiences can now be retrieved together.
I have not given up opposite the CS team forever, but I'll have to see the scene slightly away from the next while. Look how my mistakes have been and they've been there, but also see if I can improve you and give me, and collaborators, a credible product.
I must find out that this requires cooperation. It is not just organizations that must provide, but it is so even players who must give. Results are not enough, I must also sacrifice something good will and respect for the work to be done for you - to help yourselves!
I will then, along with Crash Jack, look at whether we may need to try us again later with SOA.
The whole fuss is linked:
- Community and breadth
- Organizers and managers
- Top players
If there are communities where there are a lot of ordinary players as manager and organizer has not to do anything, and then there had better not be something called Top Player or elite.
Unless you have an elite within a game, so why not show sponsors organizers will find it difficult to set up tournaments and the like.
Finally be said that this obviously does not apply to everyone. We have more stable cs players who understand how important the above is - unfortunately it's just a few!
I thank all those partners, sponsors, crew and all the people who supported SoA in its own way in a very long time. In particular, sounds a big thank you to all those who still chose to support SOA in times where it has been really hard with the players.
The last SoA team for now was:
? Jack 'wazorN' Henriksen
? Timm 'ArcadioN' Henriksen
? Michael 'FriiS-' Friis Jørgensen
? Rasmus 'FaagaN' Møller
? Finn 'karrigan' Andersen

GordonVanDyke over @ DICE published some new interresting information about the upcoming PC version of the exiting new Battlefield game: Battlefield Bad Company? 2.
It seems like the PC players are getting a little bit extra, read about it below.
We wanted to update you, and slow the flood of tweets, on questions surrounding the BFBC2 PC Beta being cancelled. I'll get right to it and say "the BFBC2 PC Beta is not cancelled". Now this all started due to changes made to an earlier blog that removed the PC Beta from the details and the reason for this was the plan changed. With the huge success of the PS3 Beta we decided to drastically increase the PC Beta's capacity to insure as many people as possible could participate. Unfortunately this meant we had to delay the Beta to very early next year giving us more planning time to make it happen and implement more optimizations.
Here is a recap of the current PC features, and we can now confirm DX11 support with more details to come later!
PC Enhanced Features
Up to 32 Players on PC (24 on consoles) - Play with up to 32 players online in the biggest multiplayer Maps in Battlefield. Each with a different tactical and gameplay focus set across a variety of environments.
Full DirectX 9, 10 & 11 Support - Immerse yourself in the Battlefield world as Frostbite engine brings tanks, helicopters and explosions to vivid life on your PC. The game will fully support Windows XP, Vista, and 7 with new tech that further improves things like lighting and shadows.
Enhanced Gameplay - The PC version also includes wide peripheral support like Joysticks for flying, NVIDIA 3D Vision, Logitech LCD Keyboards and VoIP Support plus a variety of specific features tailored for PC play.
Friend Support - Find your friends online with the new buddy list to see if and who is online so you can quickly join their game.
Dedicated Ranked Server - Everyone gets non-stop action with no connection penalties based on some other player's internet. Ranked Server Provider program will give players opportunity to rent their own server(s) located in professional grade datacenters, ability to modify settings like map rotation, create reserved slots for friends or clan members, kick & Ban players, and custom name your ranked server.
Clan Support & Private Servers - Independent Clan Tag, and ability to rent servers for hosting and controlling private password protected competitive servers with expanded control over the settings from public ranked servers.
PC Squad Play System - Updated from previous Battlefield PC titles now gives control of your squad before heading into combat.
All positive stuff, looks like DICE and EA are finally working in the best interrest of their userbase, but ofcause it can't be all joy, the Beta has been delayed until early next year instead of sometime in december. Now lets hope they don't delay it furthe, like with BF1943.
Where is the Xbox 360 in all this some might wonder? I don't know, and i'm afraid DICE doesn't either

Hi Kennet, please tell about yourself.
My name is Kennet Christensen, I am 21 years old.
I come from a little town called Ry, and for those who don?t know where it is i can tell it is around Skanderborg.
In my everyday life I work as a Key Account Manager in Århus.
In my spare time I use a lot of time on gaming and friends & family.
But when I come home and starts my computer a hole new world opens. In this world I am better known as DCS, and I think this world is very exciting, but still needs a lot of improvement to get it up running, but it will come I am sure of.
I know there is a lot who is working for this world to be better, and if we work together I am sure it will prove successful
Gaming is a lifestyle
What is your actual experience with E-sport and organizations
My experience to E-sport is very wide. It cover all from the COD4 to the CSS world.
My experience is also from the sponsor site, because I have a lot of useful contacts I want to work on to get into the E-sport.
What do you mean you can offer and bring to VIP?
I mean that I can offer a lot to VIP. Because I have a big market knowledge to how the E-sport works but also how to run a clan.
I have been working a lot with homepage and server systems for a long period, so i hope also that i can be a help with that.
What motivates you in E-sport?
It is very hard to say what is motivating for me, but I think it is the love to gaming. I think there is a lot that could be done better within E-sport. And that is what I would love to be a part of to make a difference.
What is your expectation to the organization VIP-Gaming?
My expectation to VIP as an organization:
That would be that they are ready to listen to my ideas and be ready to make E-sport to a better world.
My expectation to the CSS Alpha team:
Is certainly that they will reach in top 5 and I will do all that I can so we together can reach that goal.
It is some super nice persons and they are really easy to talk with. So I am sure there only can be something good out of this.
What do you think you can do for the CSS Alpha team?
I mean myself that I can support them in many ways. I can take part in finding sponsors so they can be able to participate in more events around the world.
But also to have all under control, so they do well together. I will take them on a lot of trips, on which we can lean to know each other much better. Because I mean that it for sure increase the partnership when everyone also know each other from the real life.
What is your expectation for the team?
My expectation to my CSS Alpha team is that they are ready to improve their gaming so they can match up higher on the list. But I also expect that they are prepared to some changes and to listen to my instructions.
Thanks for your time Kennet, any last words?
The only thing I want to say, that I am really proud to be in VIP as a Team Manager for the CSS Alpha team.
VIP is a very big organization that I have known for a very long time. And I know that they work and have the same approach as I have.

In recent days VIP's dods team has experienced some changes in the team with the new additions of SpankZ, Une and Lao who all of them has loads of experience on a high level in dods. but its not only players who have joined, the dods team now have a new team-manager! under some surcomstances, Overguard decided to leave the team and also left the team-manager spot aswell. A replacement has been found in the recent added Lao who were up for the job. He will now take the rodder and stear the team bak to its course and hopefully take the dods team to bigger and better achievements. I took Lao for a quick chat, to talk about his new role in the VIP organisation.
(Auto resize: show original)
- Hello Lao, can you please introdouce yourself to us!
Hey, I am the new Team-Manager for the VIP.dods sektion, my name is Nicolai aka Lao.
Age 23 years old. Coming from copenhagen.
I have been without work for 2 years now so I am atm. unemployd.
I have just moved in to my new apartment, and living the life of a batchelor, with very little money.
I use the most of my time working out, and play day of defeat source. And ofcourse spend time with my friends.
- Can you tell us a bit about your previous history within Management and in dods?
I started out playing in the old clan: Rejects, and it just went on and on for me to make my way arround the day of defeat source clans.
I have played in clans such as Rejects, Heroes, Buds, PE2, MoD, !hS, and now VIP. These achivements i have made in a period of 2 ½ years.
And about my management experiance, i have 2 teams in my backpack, PE2?s aktive team, and a clan i made this year after the Danish DoD's lan KWAZQ #2, !hS (HotShots).
I started pe2s main lineup because PE2 at that moment, had a lot of players talking about wanting to play matches but there where no one to lead the team,
and there for, no serious main line-up. So i whent in and took the lead. And it whent on to run for the better part for a half year, also attending KWAZQ #2 with them.
!hS was made after attending KWAZQ #2, where everybody got to see who i was, and the other way arround..
2 days after KWAZQ #2, i made the decision to make a new team, with some of the players that had attended KWAZQ #2.
!hS - stopped playing due to my inactivity about 4 months ago. But were active for about 4 months. They also attend KWAZQ #3 even after !hS closed. though without me attending.
- Where do you want to take the dods team in the future?
All the way. Not half, not almost, but all the way. But then again, that depends on the team effort.
I hope to take the team to a lot of LAN?s, and gathers. To make sure that we evolve as a team, also outside the day of defeat source world so that we get to know eachother better and more personal.
Because that does all the difference in the gaming world, to have met in real life.
And i speek of experiance, after attending KWAZQ #2
also with a lot of community boom after KWAZQ #2.
With the potential in VIP.dods, there is only the sky as a maximum height.
- Are you going to make some major/minor changes to the team? if so, what?
One of the big things i want to change is that i want people more active as possible.
If not, try and make it work anyhow and make more direct lines of match days and times.
Right now the biggest! Change, is to make a new age of VIP.dods, by getting a more active
main line up. Instead of the previous way of "winging" it and just taking the players thats availble.
So i will try, and gather the most likely active players in VIP. atm. to make a great team.
The small changes is going to be something i "wing" for the next few weeks, due to the chrismas hollidays comming up soon.
I also need to play more matches with the players to know how to make the team work as best as possible.
It all depends on the way we all work together in the upcomming months. But the changes right now is to make a new age that VIP.dods never seen before.
These few changes, are the changes that will be visiable more than before.
But ofcourse also having a looooot of fun with all the great guys in VIP.dods community on the Vent channel.
But these changes will accure in the upcomming weeks.
- what is your opinion about the players, their abilities, and the community in VIP.dods so far?
I cant really see any bad things about abilities, but though i feel that there is some players too inactive to be an asset to the VIP.organisation and to the dods team. I hope we can get that sorted out in time.
I first learned to meet the dods team after ive played some games with them, we talked and they took me in with wormth open arms.
And after a few days, I really feel that this community will grow.
I already feel at home playing with some of these guys. and hope to get closer to the other
players in time.
But further more, they are really competent players and will only go a long way,
with the team and with the incredible huge amount of potential in these players, we will only accelerate.
Thank you Lao for your time, we in the VIP Organisation and the dods team wish
all the new players and Lao good luck with everything in the future!
The Day of Defeat Source team have recently added 6 new player to the rooster. 3 backups and 3 new lineup players
