eSportsPress 1.5 Launched Now Multiligual

During the past year I have developed a love-hate relationship with my creation eSportsPress. It is my special hobby project but at the same time a source of continuous stress and lack of sleep ;). After a lot of work, this version 1.5 is ready to be released.

The most important improvement is the fact that the site now supports more than just English. Starting with Danish, Dutch, English, Finnish, French, German, Norwegian, Portuguese, Spanish and Swedish, a much broader audience will benefit from the most accurate eSports news aggregator currently available.

I hope that more people from non-English speaking countries will discover the benefits of eSportsPress. With the new filtering functionality I hope that users will find using the site easier and more personal. This release brings us closer to my goal of providing users with an accurate and up-to-date overview of the worldwide eSports press.

New in version 1.5:
Support for 10 languages (more coming)
Save preferences in your profile
Most Active Users listed
Minor update of feed items

Oh and btw: I tried to add Polish due to its hardcore eSports fans but after hours of trying to support the weird characters I gave up. Anyone that could help out?

10 months ago #11 on thing that ive seen today, line5 news links have "ID" in the link and the esportspress shows "id" and when someone click it it goes to an empty news.

ex: http://www.teamline5.com/index.php?site=news_comments&newsID=456

esp: http://www.teamline5.com/index.php?site=news_comments&newsid=456

thats the only prob ive seen, the rest looks awasome as always!

10 months ago #12 @stR: hmmm, that shouldn't be possible on their end. IMO coding like that is prone to errors. They should make the variables unsensitive to lower/uppercases.

It's easily fixible on their end btw

stR

10 months ago #13 how ro0kie?

ipestz

10 months ago #14 when you read the variable in the php script make sure it doesnt matter if its ID or id, that should fix it
